Garry Wesley ... the only tribute artist who has performed annually in Memphis during Elvis Week for 19 years.

Top Elvis impersonator bound for Australia*

Garry Wesley, one of the world's leading Elvis impersonators, is performing in Australia from 30 October to 12 November, as part of his 40th-anniversary celebration of Presley's famous 1968 "Comeback Television Special".

Renowned for his "one-stop-shop" Elvis looks, voice and moves, Garry Wesley is reported to have the ability to recreate and perform hits from Elvis's early days in the 1950s through to his final "jumpsuit years" of the 1970s.

Elvis's former drummer D J Fontana said: "I have worked with Garry a lot these past years. He is one of the best Elvis tribute artists I have seen. He looks great and has a fantastic voice."

Garry is the only tribute artist who has performed annually in Memphis during Elvis Week for 19 years. His renowned vocal range enables him to perform a myriad of Elvis hits including How Great Thou Art, My Way, If I Can Dream, Unchained Melody, Hurt, and American Trilogy. And Garry has perfected Elvis' famous gyrating moves in such hits as Polk Salad Annie, Suspicious Minds, One Night With You and Burning Love.

Garry Wesley was born in Wisconsin in 1960. Garry's father played guitar and accordion but his interest in music and especially Elvis Presley came from his older brother who often played Elvis records. On Halloween in 1980 Garry dyed his hair, dressed up as Elvis and hit the night clubs. Taken by his appearance, the club owners asked him to perform and the crowds went wild. Garry has been performing ever since.

Vocalist and comedian Sebastian Scott will be special guest on the Garry Wesley Australian tour, performing his tribute to the soft soul legend Barry White.

Garry Wesley's Australian dates are:
